Successfully maintaining our Teamwork, Flexibility and Customer Focus without third party involvement.
Recently, a union has been attempting to organize your Center. In response, we designed this website to provide you with important information about unions in general. Some of you may already know a great deal about third party representation while others have many questions.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the facts and all aspects of what to expect in a possible union election, collective bargaining and working under union rules.
Our formula for success.
One of the hallmarks of our success for 25 years has been FCi’s expertise in our core competencies. We don’t do everything for everybody. Instead, we rely on our people to continually execute our agreed-upon programs efficiently and effectively. Throughout our history, we have successfully achieved our goals by open communication, great teamwork and the ability to respond quickly to our customers’ wants, wishes and needs.
Flexibility has to remain paramount.
When an outside third party is inserted into the mix, flexibility can become a thing of the past. Rigidity in workplace rules and customer response can replace openness and continual improvement. Rapid response to customer demands is almost impossible. Close working relationships with leadership becomes more difficult. Individuals no longer have a unique voice. Communications take place through union representatives. Advancement is determined by seniority and not just capability.
We all have to be on the same page.
FCi team members now work toward a common goal. We all want to deliver excellent performance to meet our customers’ needs and expectations. That’s how we all prosper. Third party representatives have a different agenda that has the potential to be detrimental to what we want to achieve. Our operating philosophies and open management style have served us well throughout the history of our company. Our continuing success depends on your choice.
We hope you’ll find this site helpful and agree that working together is a successful formula.
